The World Health Organization says a lot more needs to be done to tackle the issue of vaccine nationalism, or vaccine apartheid, to boost global efforts to defeat Covid-19.
Director General at the Organization, Dr. Tedros Ghebreyesus spoke during World Health Day commemorations this week and said there are still too many health-care workers, across the Globe, who have not yet been vaccinated against the virus.
Ghebreyesus says he is encouraged to learn that 190 countries have already started their vaccination campaigns.
