The Western Cape Health Department has confirmed that the province has already administered close to 160-thousand residents with their Covid-19 vaccine.

Since the start of Phase 2 of the country’s vaccination program, 66 452 pensioners and healthcare workers have been vaccinated.

South Africa’s vaccination rate stands at 1 117 569.
