He was expected to appear in the Cape Town Magistrate’s Court yesterday but was sent to a district surgeon for a mental health evaluation first.
The man arrested in connection with the St George’s Cathedral fire has had charges against him withdrawn and will be sent for treatment at a psychiatric facility.
