The trailer for Mr Bones 3 is here and South African filmmaker Leon Schuster is back!

The trailer for the movie has been released on social media platforms and is titled Mr Bones 3: Son of Bones.

It’s a treat for fans who want to complete the trilogy, the first Mr Bones movie hit the big screen twenty years ago in 2001.

Mr Bones 3: Son of Bones stars Leon Schuster, Alfred ‘shorty’ Ntombela, Wandile Molebatsi, Jay Anstey as well as comedian Tumi Morake.

Last year, streaming service Showmax removed some Leon Schuster movies after complaints that it was racially insensitive. In a newspaper interview, the comedian then spoke about the outrage and said he was shocked that people complained about some of the content of his movies. In the movie Mama Jack, Schuster portrays a Black, African woman and wears black face make-up. This was one of the movies removed from the streaming platform.

After a two-year absence, the filmmaker is now back and the latest installment of Mr Bones will be released on 15 April 2022.
