This is not the first time that Tony Bennett has made it into the Guinness Book of World Records.

In 2014, Tony Bennett achieved the acc for the oldest person to reach number one on the US album chart when he released new music. He was also a record-breaker before that when he released a re-recording with rocketed up the charts. He has the record for the longest time between the release of an original recording and a re-recording of the same single by an artist.

Lady Gaga continues to be his biggest fan. In the video clip announcing his latest record-breaking achievement, Gaga said: “I see a young boy every time I sing with him. And it just makes the experience of singing so freeing, to have it be about two souls singing together. And yet, at the same time, I have taken all of his wisdom, the wisdom of all of his years.”
