Duvenage was part of the panel at the launch of Defend Our Democracy’s anti-corruption week campaign yesterday. Williams announced on Sunday that he left the country last week, after implicating more than 30 companies and individuals, during his testimony at the state capture commission of inquiry before judge Raymond Zondo.
OUTA CEO Wayne Duvenage has urged the government to send a strong message and reach out to whistleblower Athol Williams after he left the country on the 1st of November, out of fear for his safety.
