More than a million Western Cape residents fully vaccinated

Premier Alan Winde says the Western Cape has, to date, administered more than 2.5-million doses of Covid-19 vaccine.

The province yesterday administered more than 38,000 doses of vaccine.

The Western Cape has, as of Tuesday, given at least one injection to more than 1,795-million adults – 36% of the province’s adult population.

Of this group, more than a million have been fully vaccinated.
