Metro-rail Western Cape will, from today, 16 September, extend the Southern Line rail-service, to include the Muizenberg and Fish Hoek stations.
Train services will therefore run on a daily basis, between Cape Town and the Fish Hoek station.
In line with level 2 lockdown regulations, train capacity has been increased to 70%.
Spokes-person, Riana Scott, says turn-around times at the Cape Town and Fish Hoek stations will be slightly longer, to accommodate the regular sanitizing of trains.

As more and more of us get out and about, return to work and school and reunite with friends and family, it’s more important than ever that we stay safe and protect each other from Covid-19. #WearAMask in public, including before, during and after travelling. pic.twitter.com/EBTtPPMolT
