The Minister of Co-operative governance Nkosazana Dlamini Zuma has published the adjusted Level 3 regulations, and it’s been confirmed nightclubs, bars and shebeens will be closed, while restaurants, movie houses, theatres, casinos, galleries and museums will have to close their doors at 8pm daily.
These establishments also have to limit the number of patrons to ensure social distancing rules are adhered to.
No alcohol may be consumed on premises or sold anywhere. In a blow for wine farms, it appears wine tastings have also been banned. “The tasting and selling of liquor to the public by
registered wineries. wine farms. and other similar establishments registered as micro manufacturers, is prohibited.”
